Eagle Rare 10 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon, aged for no less than ten years at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) in a 70cl bottle.
The long maturation in Buffalo Trace's warehouses gives it a complex aroma and a dry, lingering finish.
On the nose there is toffee, orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. The palate is dry and oaky, with candied almonds and rich cocoa, and the finish stays dry and long.
