Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort. It is aged for ten years in American oak, uses a low-rye mash bill and is bottled at 45% (90 proof) in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is toasted oak, dark toffee, candied orange and soft leather, with a touch of vanilla bean. The palate is rich and balanced, with brown sugar, maple syrup, citrus peel and baking spice over a velvety texture.
The finish is long and dry, with tobacco leaf, dark cocoa and aged oak.
