Eagle Rare 10 Years Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It has matured for at least ten years and is bottled at 45% ABV.
The character leans on toffee, orange peel and buttery corn. On the nose, toasted oak gives way to flamed orange peel and maple syrup.
The palate brings honey, buttered bread, rich walnuts and a touch of red fruit. The finish carries vanilla, oak spice and a little old leather.
