This is Eagle Rare 12 Year Old, a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Buffalo Trace Distillery. It was aged for 12 years in American oak barrels and bottled at 45% ABV, or 90 proof.
The nose is sweet and oaky, with toasted oak, caramel and dried fruit. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, and the finish is rich and lingering.
