Eagle Rare 17 Year Old Bourbon 2022 (75cl)

The 2022 release of Eagle Rare 17 Year Old, a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort and the longest-aged bourbon in the distillery's Antique Collection. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered, in a 75cl bottle. Seventeen years in new charred American oak gives a deep amber colour. The 2022 bottling reflects the master distiller's barrel selection for that year's collection. The nose is described as dried fruit and aged oak. On the palate come aged leather, honey sweetness, smoke and herbs, with the oak well integrated. The finish is long and dry, with oak and dried fruit.
