Double Eagle Very Rare is the top annual release in the Eagle Rare family from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky. This 2023 edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged 20 years, from barrels selected by the distillery, in a 750ml bottle.
Each bottle is individually numbered and comes in a hand-cut crystal decanter inside a custom display case.
The nose offers caramel, dried fruit, aged leather and deep oak. The palate is rich, with dark fruit, warm spice and vanilla alongside the oak. The finish is very long.
