Eagle Rare Single Barrel Bourbon 1.75L (175cl, 45%)

This is Eagle Rare single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, in a 1.75 litre bottle at 45% ABV. Each barrel is chosen individually after at least ten years of ageing. The aim is to balance a consistent house character with the individual personality of a single barrel. The nose is complex, with toffee, orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. On the palate it is dry and oaky, with candied almonds and rich cocoa. The finish is dry and lingering, with leather, toffee and persistent oak.
