Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 54.5%)

Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask is a robust Islay blended malt matured solely in bourbon casks. It brings together smoky malts from the south coast of Islay with a spicy, maritime character from the north coast. Maturation took place in first-fill and refill bourbon barrels, which add vanilla, sweet fruit and creamy notes without covering the Islay smoke. It is bottled at 54.5%, not coloured and not chill-filtered. The nose offers vanilla, tropical fruit and spicy coal smoke. On the palate come peat smoke, cappuccino, brioche, vanilla pudding, maple syrup and zesty fruit. The finish is creamy vanilla with lingering peat smoke.
