Elements of Islay Fireside 2024 is a blended malt from Elixir Distillers, bottled for the 2024 Fèis Ìle festival. It brings together whisky from two Islay distilleries, Caol Ila and Bunnahabhain, and is bottled at 54.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It matured in heavily re-charred hogsheads and in Oloroso sherry hogsheads and butts made from American and European oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose offers warm fireside smoke, rich red fruit and a hint of candied orange. The palate is full and robust, with thick smoke, dark chocolate and subtle spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke and a touch of oak.
