This is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Elixir Distillers, part of its core Elements of Islay range. It is bottled at 54.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and in its natural colour.
It combines Islay single malt from a distillery on the south coast with single malt from a distillery on the north coast. The blend matured in first-fill and refill sherry butts and in hogsheads.
The south coast malt brings dried fruit and dark chocolate, while the north coast malt adds lemon oil and Arbroath smokie.
