Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Batch A124 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Heaven Hill distillery. The youngest whiskey in the batch matured for 10 years and 9 months in new charred American white oak barrels.
It was bottled undiluted in January 2024 at 59.5% ABV (119 proof), in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colouring.
The nose brings caramel and toasted oak with apple and orange. The palate offers vanilla, caramel and butterscotch, with black pepper and cinnamon. The finish is long, warm and slow to fade.
