Enigma is a 15-year-old Islay single malt bottled by Wm Cadenhead at a cask strength of 54.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2008, matured in bourbon hogsheads and bottled in September 2024, with 1,494 bottles filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers applewood, marzipan and vanilla sponge cake. On the palate there are crème brûlée and chipotle sauce, and the finish brings honey lemon boiled sweets, chorizo and rock salt.
