Evan Williams 23 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl)

A 23-year-old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Evan Williams, made at the Heaven Hill Bernheim Distillery in Louisville and sold in a 75cl bottle. It is made from a high-rye mashbill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, and spent 23 years maturing in Kentucky. Because each bottle comes from a single barrel, proof and character vary slightly from one barrel to the next. The nose is caramel, leather, aged oak and dried fruit. On the palate there is deep oak, dried fruit, leather and warm spice, leading to a long, oak-led finish.
