Fairbanks Cellars California Ruby Port (1.5L, 18%)

A ruby port from California, bottled in a 1.5 litre magnum format and bottled at 18% abv. On the nose it shows cinnamon, clove and dark chocolate. The palate is full bodied and intense, with raspberry, cherry and plum fruit, and it closes on a medium-long, slightly acidic finish. It works as an after-dinner aperitif, and also suits roast duck, pâté, pork medallions or chicken with mushrooms.
