FEW Rye Whiskey (46.5%)

FEW Rye Whiskey is an American rye from FEW Spirits, a Chicago grain-to-glass distillery that has made its spirit from start to finish since 2011. The mash bill is 70% rye, 20% corn and 10% malt, and it is bottled at 46.5%, or 93 proof, which refers to the year 1893. A yeast more usually found in red wine gives the whisky a fruity character of plum and pear, followed by a long, deep finish. The labels draw on Chicago's 1893 World's Fair and on Prohibition. It works well in a Sweet Manhattan or a Boulevardier.
