FEW Spirits Bottled in Bond is a grain-to-glass bourbon from Evanston, Illinois, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is matured for at least four years in barrels made from Minnesota oak. The mashbill is 70% corn, 20% rye and 10% malted barley, and the whiskey is the product of a single distillery and a single distilling season, as bottled in bond requires. Orange zest and butterscotch lead the nose, with tobacco leaf, toasted bread, vanilla and ripe cherry. The palate is creamy, with cherry and caramel, then rye spice, toasted oak and tobacco. The finish is long, with dark chocolate, date and oak tannins, drying gradually.
