FEW Cold Cut is a bourbon from Evanston, Illinois, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It begins as the distillery's flagship bourbon, made from 70% corn, 20% Northern rye and 10% malt. At the proofing stage, cold brew coffee from a Chicago roaster is used in place of water, roughly a cup of cold brew for each bottle. The nose is dark roasted coffee with spearmint and marzipan, then toasted oak and green tea. On the palate, cinnamon and clove sit with corn sweetness and a creamy texture, followed by mint chocolate, liquorice and blueberry. The finish is soft, with roasted coffee and warm baking spice.
