Few Spirits Chicago Smokeworks is an American malt whiskey made at the distillery in Evanston, Illinois, at 46.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The malted barley is smoked over cherrywood rather than peat. The mashbill combines cherrywood-smoked malted barley with rye, and the whiskey is matured in charred American oak barrels. It is bottled without chill filtration. The nose offers molasses, honey graham cracker, cherry jam and a thread of campfire smoke over vanilla. The palate is caramel-apple sweet, with cinnamon, clove and charred oak. The finish is smooth, with gentle cherrywood smoke, caramel and spice.
