Finlaggan Eilean Mor is an Islay single malt Scotch, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky comes from an undisclosed Islay distillery, and the name refers to Finlaggan Castle, the seat of the feudal Lord of the Isles.
It is sunny golden in colour. The nose brings smoke, sea salt and seaweed, balanced by malt and citrus. The palate is smoky, spicy and slightly oily, with peat, seaweed and pepper, and salt and malt behind. The finish is long, smoky and spicy.
