Finlaggan Friends of the Fèis 2024 (70cl, 50%)

This is a Finlaggan Islay single malt made for Fèis Ìle 2024. It was bottled in 2024 by The Vintage Malt Whisky Company at 50% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour. The whisky matured entirely in fresh Tempranillo red wine barriques. This small batch brings together barriques 1, 2 and 3, and 950 bottles were filled. The nose is of garden bonfire and caramelised fruit. On the palate, sweet peat, sea salt and toasted spices meet smoked blackberries. The finish is long, joining oily smoke with lingering sweetness.
