Finlaggan Old Reserve is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky from The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery behind it is a closely guarded secret.
The nose is slightly medicinal, with peanut, sticking plasters, manuka honey and digestive biscuits.
The palate brings sweet cereals, barley malt, a little peat smoke, TCP, nutmeg and ginger. The finish is long and sweet, with toasty oak and peppermint.
