Flaming Pig Black Cask Small Batch Irish Whiskey (2017) (70cl, 40%)

Flaming Pig Black Cask is a small-batch Irish blend from West Cork Distillers, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in first-fill, heavily charred bourbon barrels, which give a deep colour, a strong influence from the wood and smoky notes. The nose has vanilla, toasted wood and light smoke. On the palate come nutty grain, caramel, toffee and a touch of spice. The finish is warm, slightly smoky and full.
