Florio Passito di Pantelleria DOC (50cl)

A sweet passito from the volcanic island of Pantelleria, made from Zibibbo, also known as Moscato di Alessandria. The grapes are harvested late and dried on racks in the sun, giving natural sweetness balanced by fresh acidity. It shows an intense golden colour, with aromas of dried apricot, dried figs, candied citrus and honeyed notes. On the palate it is enveloping, with a balance of sweetness and freshness, and a savoury, persistent finish. It suits rich desserts and blue cheeses.
