Florio Marsala DOC Vergine Riserva 2005 is a Sicilian fortified wine from the province of Trapani. Made from dried grapes and aged for at least five years, it has an intense amber colour and an elegant, complex structure. The bouquet brings together almond, honey, dried fruit and light spicy notes from patient ageing in wooden barrels. On the palate it shows balanced sweetness and velvety softness, with surprising freshness. It is suited to meditation or to dry desserts and aged cheeses.
