Foursquare Convocation is a Barbados rum from the Foursquare Rum Distillery, aged 14 years and bottled at 62% vol in a 700 ml bottle. It is part of the Exceptional Cask Series and was distilled in copper double retort pot stills and continuous twin-column stills. The rum matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Madeira dessert wine casks and was bottled without chill filtration, added sugar or other additives. It has its natural colour.
The nose shows juicy sultana, pineapple and spicy orange peel, with butterscotch, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. The palate is soft and sweet, with unripe pineapple, green banana, ripe plum, more sultana and gentle toffee. The finish brings warming oak with spicy dates, raisins, cinnamon and ginger.
