Fox & Oden Straight Bourbon is a straight bourbon whiskey bottled at 49.5% in a 750ml bottle. It blends 8 and 15-year-old bourbons from MGP in Indiana, drawn from two mashbills: one with 21% rye, aged 8 years, and one with 36% rye, aged 15 years.
Butterscotch and brown sugar lead the nose, with fig, nutmeg and mature oak. On the palate, salted caramel and cinnamon give way to charred oak, leather, baking spices and tobacco, with a peppery rye backbone. The finish is medium and warm, with red fruit, orange zest, almond and oak, ending dry.
