The 12th release of Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon, known as Hazmat, a Texas bourbon bottled at 70.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled at cask strength, uncut and unfiltered.
The whiskey comes from Dan and Donnis's favourite barrels, which are set aside for a couple of years of further maturation. The barrels are American oak and mature in steel barns in the Texas heat.
The nose is burnt wood, gun smoke and toasted marshmallows. The palate is rich with black pepper. The finish is peppery, with a restrained warmth.
