A Texas straight bourbon from Garrison Brothers, aged for 7 years and finished in Cognac casks, in a 75cl bottle. Lady Bird starts as the distillery's Small Batch bourbon, aged for 4 years in new white American oak barrels.
The bourbon is then infused with Burleson's Texas Wildflower Honey for a further 8 to 9 months partway through its ageing, before moving into French Cognac XO casks for another 3 years.
On the nose there is brown sugar, raisin, wildflower honey and molasses, with charred oak and lighter notes of stone fruit and vanilla.
