Garrison Brothers Small Batch is a Texas straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 47% abv. It is made from corn to bottle in Hye, Texas, one barrel at a time, from a sweet mash of corn, soft red winter wheat from local farms and two-row barley.
The colour is a deep amber with a red tint, and the style is rich and full without any bite.
On the nose are pine honey, butterscotch, cloves, toasted oak, vanilla and white flowers. The palate brings candied orange, maple syrup, cinnamon, chocolate and white pepper with young dates, leading to a medium-long, warm finish of corn porridge, baking spices and apple pie.
