GlenAllachie – 10 Year Old Batch 13 (70cl, 59.8%)

GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Batch 13 is the thirteenth edition of the distillery's cask strength ten-year-old, bottled at 59.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Master Distiller Billy Walker describes each batch as showing the direction the distillery is taking, with cask management at the centre of that approach. The nose offers mocha, crystallised ginger and cinnamon, then Manuka honey, muscovado sugar, treacle and maraschino cherries. The palate brings cocoa, salted caramel and warmed honey, with baking spices and blood orange, and glazed blackberries and fig syrup run into the finish.
