This is Batch 6 of GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength, a single malt bottled at 57.8% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The batch combines Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons with a small amount of virgin oak and Rioja casks.
The nose offers heather honey, dark chocolate and mocha with almonds, cinnamon and orange peel. On the palate, dark chocolate and mocha melt together with heather honey, almonds, cinnamon, marmalade and grapefruit.
