GlenAllachie – 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 13 (59.8%)

GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 13 is a Speyside single malt bottled at 59.8% ABV. It is the thirteenth batch in the distillery's Cask Strength series, overseen by Master Distiller Billy Walker. The whisky was matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, red wine casks and virgin oak, with Pedro Ximénez making up more than half of the vatting. The colour is a deep chestnut, and it is bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration. The nose is lively. The palate brings dark fruits, rich sherry sweetness, warming spice and toasted oak, and the finish is powerful and full-bodied.
