A cask strength single malt from Glenallachie in Speyside, bottled at 57% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is put together from several kinds of cask: Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, Rioja barriques, and American virgin oak barrels that are medium charred and medium toasted.
On the nose there is mocha, nutmeg and walnut oil, with heather honey, sweet raisins and dried red berries. The palate brings cinnamon spice, molasses and honeycomb, followed by ginger, espresso and dark chocolate. The finish carries hints of nutmeg and fennel.
