GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Spanish Oak - Batch 3

This is a ten-year-old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, released as Batch 3 of the Virgin Oak Series, which looks at how different oak species shape whisky during maturation. It was first matured in American oak bourbon barrels, then finished for around 18 months in virgin Spanish oak casks, which add depth and subtle flavour nuances. The series sits within the work of Master Distiller Billy Walker, who acquired the distillery in 2017 and has overseen its releases since.
