This is a 10 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, bottled at 48% as part of the distillery's Virgin Oak Series. After maturing in traditional oak casks, it was finished in casks made from American Chinquapin oak, which were medium toasted.
The notes describe nutmeg, cinnamon and a light, fresh citrus on the nose. On the palate come spice, honey and vanilla, with a hint of tropical fruit.
