GlenAllachie 10 Years Cask Strength Batch 2 is a Speyside single malt bottled at 54.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The cask strength series joined the distillery's core range in 2018.
This batch matured for ten years in ex-PX and Oloroso sherry casks together with virgin oak, selected by master distiller Billy Walker. It is bottled without chill-filtering or added colour.
The nose has strong heather honey and toffee, with occasional rosehip and spice. The palate is sweet, with honey, vanilla and toffee, a layer of rosehip jam and Caribbean spices. The finish is medium in length and spicy.
