GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 7 is a Speyside single malt bottled at 56.8% ABV, with no added colour and no chill-filtration. It is the seventh batch in the distillery's cask strength series, with an outturn of around 66,000 bottles.
The whisky was matured in a mix of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons, Rioja barriques and virgin oak casks. It has a deep mahogany colour.
The nose is rich with heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg, alongside orange peel, mocha and molasses. On the palate come dark chocolate, figs, raisins, plums and a little orange zest. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit, spice and oak.
