This is a 10 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, bottled at cask strength as batch 6. It has a deep golden colour.
GlenAllachie was founded in 1967, with its first new make running in February 1968. Since October 2017 it has been owned by GlenAllachie Distillers Company, led by Master Distiller Billy Walker.
The nose combines caramel, heather, honey and a little spice, with a touch of rose petals. On the palate there is honey, vanilla and plenty of caramel, leading to a spicy finish.
