This is a single cask GlenAllachie from Speyside, distilled on 26 February 2013 and matured for twelve years in a European virgin oak hogshead, cask 4385, under Master Distiller Billy Walker. It was bottled in 2025.
The cask gives a spicy character, and 344 bottles were filled.
The nose combines heather honey, rose petals, dark cocoa and cinnamon, with roasted hazelnuts, orange and ginger. The palate is creamy butterscotch and mocha over muscovado sugar, with ginger and orange peel. The finish is long, with ginger, dark cane sugar and fading orange.
