This is a 12-year-old GlenAllachie single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021 by Murray McDavid at 50%. It forms part of the Benchmark limited release.
The whisky spent 11 years in a 600-litre sherry cask. It was then moved into two freshly emptied Limousin oak casks that had held Cognac, where it stayed for a year before the two were brought back together.
