GlenAllachie 12 Year Old 2013 is a single cask Speyside malt, distilled in 2013 and bottled after twelve years at a cask strength of 60.9%. It matured in a Scottish virgin oak hogshead and is non-chill-filtered, with no colour added.
It belongs to the distillery's Master Blender's European Collection, selected by Billy Walker and his team, and 281 bottles were released for the European market.
The nose offers heather honey, brandy-soaked raspberries, mocha and roses. On the palate come crystallised ginger, gingerbread, toffee and eucalyptus, followed by a long, silky finish of sweetness, spice and a little oak.
