GlenAllachie 12 Year Old 2013 is a single cask Speyside malt bottled at a cask strength of 61.7% ABV. It was matured in a European virgin oak cask and yielded 344 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose opens with heather honey and creamy cocoa, alongside cinnamon, toasted hazelnuts and a touch of rose petal. The palate is rich butterscotch and dark mocha, with honey, spiced orange and muscovado sugar. The finish is long, with honey and dark chocolate moving into warming spice and a hint of toasted oak.
