This GlenAllachie is a 12-year-old Speyside single cask malt, matured in a Fino sherry hogshead and bottled at a cask strength of 61.4% in a 70cl bottle. Only 242 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The Fino cask brings a dry, nutty character to the whisky.
The nose is dried fruit, nuts and light citrus with spice. The palate has dried fruit, almonds, light caramel and citrus. The finish is long and warm, with nuts, dried fruit, citrus and spice.
