A 14 year old Speyside single malt from Glenallachie, a UK Exclusive edition in the distillery's Wood Finish Series. It was bottled in 2021 at its natural cask strength of 55.4%, without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky began in first and second fill American oak barrels, then spent a further two years or more in Oloroso sherry puncheons. Its colour is burnished mahogany.
The nose is rich butterscotch with mocha, toasted almonds and gentle pineapple. The palate brings fresh espresso, dark chocolate, zesty orange, sticky raisins and hints of ginger.
