GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt made under Master Distiller Billy Walker. It is bottled at 46%, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The whisky is aged in a combination of PX and Oloroso sherry casks, with further influence from virgin oak and red wine barriques.
On the nose there are raisins, dark chocolate, honeycomb, figs and cinnamon, with treacle and a little espresso. The palate is full-bodied, with sherry sweetness, dark berries, cocoa, orange peel and nutmeg. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruits, dark chocolate and nutty spice.
