This is a 15 year old GlenAllachie single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It joined the distillery's core range in 2019.
Before bottling, the whisky was given a finishing period in sherry casks, a mix of puncheons and hogsheads that previously held Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry.
On the nose there is peanut brittle, dates and chocolate ice cream. The palate brings walnut, raisin, Christmas spices and fresh ginger, and the finish offers coffee, Turkish delight and a hint of flaky sea salt.
