GlenAllachie 15 Years Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle in 2024. It is non-chill-filtered and its colour is natural, with no added caramel.
It matured mainly in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads and puncheons. Billy Walker, who led the purchase of the distillery in 2017, checks the casks personally.
Tasting notes describe cinnamon, aniseed and caramel on the nose with banana, raisins and orange peel, a silky palate of chocolate and toffee with sherry sweetness, and a long finish of dark chocolate and orange peel with a slight bitterness.
