This is a 17 year old Glenallachie bottled by Cadenhead in its Original Collection. It was fully matured in refill butts.
The nose brings dates, mocha, nutmeg, walnut, pistachio, heather and passion fruit. On the palate come cinnamon, ginger, marzipan, butterscotch and pumpernickel bread. The finish has aniseed, brandy cherries, rye toast and dark chocolate.
