This is the re-dressed 18-year-old GlenAllachie single malt, bottled at 46% ABV without added colour or chill-filtration. It matured in a mix of casks: bourbon, Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and virgin oak.
The nose brings vanilla cake, orange peel, green banana and a little pink grapefruit. On the palate there is clear barley character with apples, pears, caramel sweetness and heather honey, plus raisins, almonds and baking spices. The finish is long, led by ginger and vanilla.
