This is an 18-year-old single malt from The GlenAllachie Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle without chill-filtering or added colour.
The nose is freshly toasted bread with melting butter and salted caramel, alongside cinnamon buns and vanilla custard. The palate has a firm malt core with marzipan, raisins, maraschino cherries and dark chocolate, plus heather honey and spice that runs from sweet cinnamon to allspice.
The finish is long, with sticky dates, slightly burnt caramel and tahini.
